Query-Backed Collection

A collection class using Doctrine ORM QueryBuilder as the data source. Unlike doing the query in the traditional way, this class allows lazy loading. You can safely pass the object around, and it will only execute the query when you start getting items from it.

Installation​

composer require rekalogika/collections-orm

Usage​

use Rekalogika\Collections\ORM\QueryRecollection;

$queryBuilder = ... // create a QueryBuilder instance

$collection = new QueryRecollection(
    queryBuilder: $queryBuilder,
    indexBy: 'id'
);

// use $collection like a regular Collection or Recollection

The Minimal Flavor​

The minimal version of QueryRecollection is QueryPageable, which implements PageableRecollection. Simply replace QueryRecollection with QueryPageable in the example above.
